PSU Oxygen Mask

Polysulfones (PSU) Materials

Polysulfones, or PSU are thermoplastic polymers known for their toughness, rigidity and stability at high temperatures. Polysulfones are clear, hygroscopic, amorphous materials that can be used in injection molding and extrusion. This engineered thermoplastic can retain its many properties in temperatures ranging from –150°F (–100°C) to 300°F (150°C). This, along with excellent radiation stability, chemical resistance and hydrolysis resistance make it ideal for kitchenware and food-contact, lab and medical and other high-performance applications.
